Micah Kalama is deeply rooted in Waimānalo and Kailua, raised in a multi-generational family on a local farm where he learned the value of culture and the land. Inspired by parents who dedicated their lives to archaeological preservation and traditional craftsmanship, Micah carries forward a legacy of hard work and community stewardship.
A lifelong waterman and competitive athlete, Micah's professional journey spans hospitality, media, and community leadership. From his role at Hawaiian Airlines to serving as a youth coach and race director, he has consistently worked to strengthen Hawai'i's ties to its heritage while creating new opportunities for the next generation.
Micah is running for State Representative to ensure our homes remain affordable, our traditions are honored, and our district has a leader who listens. He is committed to protecting the unique character of District 51 while building a sustainable future for all our families.
